These silencers, designed exclusively for use on the track, cut down engine noise, allowing drivers to participate in track days without exceeding the limits set on the track.  The reduction in noise emissions by 12 db, in accordance with the FIA standards, has allowed Ferrari to successfully carry out several tests on English and Italian circuits.
